2012 Festival

Mark Your Calendars for the 2012 CV Outdoors Festival to be held on Saturday, September 8 just east of Westfield along Route 49, across from Champlain Cemetery.

Our field host this year is John Painter. So next time you see John, be sure to give him a big Thank You for his generous contribution.

We are making arrangements for electric to be installed, our Big Top Tent is being repaired and readied, and we are lining up entertainers, vendors, and people to help pull off another great event for everyone to enjoy.

Some of the general Speakers and Entertaining acts we are looking for are may include:

  • Clowns / Costumed Characters
  • Singers/Bands
  • Story Tellers
  • Petting Zoo Animals
  • Educational Exhibits/Displays
  • Sport/Hobby Enthusiasts

Do you have an interesting hobby, activity or sport you'd like to share or teach others about?  The CV Outdoors Festival is a great place to promote it!  Just give Festival Coordinator CJ Houghtaling a call at 570-376-2821, or send her an email with details or make arrangements to have it featured at the Fest!

Attention muscians - the CV Outdoors Festival is looking for a band to perform 1-2 hours under the Big Top.  This is an ideal way to introduce your band to the people of the Valley.  Call Festival Coordinator CJ Houghtaling at 570-376-2821, or send her an email for more information.

Of course, if you are a vendor and want the opportunity to sell your products, the CV Outdoors Festival will host over 1000 people (if it follows last year's success, that is), so you are sure to get great exposure.

AND NonProfits are welcome to set up booths at a discount price to do some profitable fund-raising.
